Summary
A creator describes a character, or uploads a picture. Jig draws a base character, then draws every trait layer onto it, checks and fixes each piece, and composes up to 10,000 unique NFTs with the creator's rarity settings. The collection launches on Solana with a provably random reveal.
Each collection can also launch its own creator coin, paired with JIG in a pool that is locked for good. Five percent of every coin goes to the collection's NFT holders.
Creator NFTs
A Metaplex Core collection drawn by Jig, with its metadata frozen after the reveal.
Creator coins
One billion coins per collection in a permanently locked pool against JIG. The creator earns a 1–5% trading fee, paid in JIG.
JIG
One billion fixed supply, 75% in a permanently locked JIG/SOL pool. The pair for every coin and the currency of its fees.
Design principles
- The creator is paid first: the whole mint price, plus 10% of Jig's fee.
- One visible fee per pool, with the full split shown on every buy.
- Rules live on chain: pools locked for good, mint authorities revoked, fixed supplies.
- Jig's own system never sells JIG, with one published exception for the sweep-and-list flywheel.
- The only JIG burn comes from trading fees. Builds, mint fees and royalties are never burned.
- No standalone coins. A coin exists only with a collection.
Why Jig
Many people who want to launch an NFT collection are stopped by the art. A layered collection from an illustrator or a studio costs thousands and takes weeks.
The hard part is not generating 10,000 combinations. It is producing a hundred or more traits that fit one character and look intentional. Jig draws every layer on the approved character and cuts it out, so the pieces fit by construction.
Head and shoulders
Straight on or with a slight turn, with nothing in hand.
More poses
Three-quarter and side poses, held items, full body and scenes with several characters.
Making a collection

Describe
A sentence and a style, or one picture.
- Step 2
Approve the character
Several takes are drawn and checked. The creator approves one.
- Step 3
Layers drawn on it
Each trait is drawn on the character, cut out and checked.
- Step 4
Compose
Every piece unique, weighted by the creator's rarity.

A collection address. Jig hosts a mint page for it.
FreeThe build, step by step
- Choose the facing, framing, colour versions, trait categories and size.
- Set rarity per category with a slider, from every trait equally likely to strongly tiered.
- Pay in SOL, or in JIG at 25% off the launch price.
- Approve the base character, or redraw it.
- Layers are drawn onto the approved character and checked.
- Review. Keep or drop pieces. Anything Jig's own checks failed is redrawn free.
- Compose, pin to IPFS and launch.
Launching the collection
The collection is a Metaplex Core collection run by Jig's jig_mint program. The art order is committed before anyone mints and fixed by public randomness afterwards.
- Before the first mint
Register
Up to three phases, a supply, a placeholder image and the provenance hash.
- Mint
VIP, allowlist, public
Each phase has a start, end, price and per-wallet cap.
- Sell-out, timer or button
Mint ends
A stalled mint can be finished by anyone after 30 days with no sale.
- drand round
Reveal
The first drand round after minting ends shuffles the art. Anyone can recompute it.
- One way
Freeze
The metadata never changes again.
The creator is paid the whole price
Jig's fee is paid by the minter on top of the price. The royalty is set at registration and locked.
Jig holds the collection authority
On its own key, through the reveal and freeze. Creators never hold it, and it can never change frozen metadata or the royalty split.
Hold back for the team, keep the one-of-ones
A creator can hold back up to 5% of the supply, minted without the fee, and pick which one-of-ones to keep. Kept one-of-ones go to the creator before the mint opens, so a first minter is never handed one.
Creator coins
Each collection can launch one coin, paired with JIG in a single-sided pool that is locked for good. Only the collection's creator can launch it.
Not on day one. Coin launches open once the JIG pool holds $25,000 of SOL for 24 hours. Collections and mints run from day one.
- Locked pool against JIGSingle-sided; the creator puts in no money. Anything the pool does not take is burned.90–95%

- Day 0
Mint ends, airdrop opens
Anyone can open it; Jig does it automatically.
- Day 1
Creator's share
Claimable 24 hours after the holders', so holders are always in first.
- Day 7
Fully released
Each NFT's share releases evenly over 7 days.
- Day 37
Claims close
After 30 more days, what is unclaimed goes to the pot.
| At a glance | |
|---|---|
| Trading fee | Chosen by the creator, 1–5%, default 1%. Paid in JIG and fixed for the life of the pool |
| Opening | The fee starts at 10% and falls to the creator's fee over 30 seconds, against snipers |
| Start valuation | $4,000 fully diluted |
| Supply | Fixed: mint authority revoked, liquidity locked for good |
| Transfers | Free between wallets |
| Dev buy | Optional, in the launch transaction. Fees paid above the creator's chosen rate are rebated in JIG |
| Launch fee | None |
| Unclaimed balances | Never expire |
The flywheel
The creator picks one use for part of their coin's fees. By default, 20% of the coin fee goes to the flywheel.
Buyback and burn
Buys the coin at random times and burns it.
Holder drip
Paid to NFT holders per NFT, in JIG. It never expires.
Sweep and list
Buys the floor NFT, relists it at 1.2 times the price, and burns the coin with the proceeds.
The creator earns
The whole mint price, 10% of Jig's mint fee, 90% of royalties, their share of the coin fee in JIG, and up to 5% of the coin.
The creator cannot
Change the fee, move the liquidity, mint more coins or touch the airdrop.

$100 of a 1% coin, bought with SOL
A buy from SOL has two legs: SOL to JIG in the JIG pool, then JIG to the coin in the coin's pool. The trader pays $1.75 in fees in total.
A coin's fee, by the rate the creator chose

After Meteora's 20%. Anyone can trigger the harvest that pays these out, so creators are paid even if Jig is offline.
Royalties
5% by default; the creator may set up to 10%. The creator receives 90% and Jig 10%. Marketplaces pay royalties on Solana, and Tensor and Magic Eden's AMM pay Core royalties in full. Jig's commitment: it only ever changes which marketplaces may trade the NFTs, never the rate.

25% off the launch price, with no end date. It does not apply on top of the promotion: a promotion build pays $19, $39 or $79 in full, in SOL or JIG.
A build licenses the collection as launched on Jig. It does not include taking the layer files elsewhere. Redrawing anything Jig's own checks failed is free.
JIG, the token
JIG is the pair for every creator coin and the currency its fees are paid in. It also gives 25% off a build, and it is what the pot holds and the burn removes.

All 750 million pool tokens went single-sided into the Meteora JIG/SOL pool from a $4,000 fully diluted valuation, and the liquidity was locked for good. Trading opened five minutes after the pool was created, at 16:05:57 UTC.
There was no presale, no allowlist and no Alpha Vault. Everyone bought from the pool. The opening fee fell from 10% to 0.75% over 30 seconds, against snipers.

10% of Jig's share of coin-pool and JIG-pool fees buys and burns JIG. Nothing else is burned.
Sweep and list
The one place Jig's system sells JIG. A creator who picks this flywheel has small amounts of their coin's flywheel JIG sold, within a reference price band, to buy the cheapest listed NFT of their collection. Every limit is enforced on chain: at most one buy a day, a capped price and holding, relisting at a set markup and never below cost, and a raffle to a holder after 30 days, drawn on chain.
Safeguards
What the programs make impossible, and what can still change. There is no token governance and no DAO; the founders run the company.
Liquidity locked, supply fixed
The JIG pool and every coin pool are locked for good. Mint authorities are revoked on JIG and every coin.
Upgrades wait 72 hours
Four programs can be upgraded only by a 2-of-3 multisig, after a 72-hour time lock, so any change is visible in advance.
Vesting cannot change
The founders' vesting program is immutable. Nobody can change or speed up the schedule.
The pot has no withdraw
No instruction lets anyone take JIG, coins or SOL out of the pot. Payouts, if ever enabled, are SOL rounds only.
The royalty rate is fixed
Only the list of marketplaces that may trade the NFTs can change, through a multisig. Never the rate.
Jig's keys are limited
Jig's day-to-day keys cannot take mint proceeds, move anyone's funds, or change metadata once it is frozen.
Build prices, set by the founders. The mint-fee floor in SOL, adjusted daily by at most 25% to hold $1. The marketplace list. Fee splits change only by a program upgrade, with 72 hours' notice. A live coin's pool fee cannot change.
Roadmap
- Live
Jig on Solana mainnet
Collections drawn, launched and minted on chain. Builds paid in SOL or in JIG at 25% off, the launch promotion, five programs deployed, and JIG trading in its permanently locked pool.
- Next
Collection coin launches
Every collection launches its own coin, paired with JIG in a pool locked for good, with 5% of it airdropped to the collection's holders. Every coin buy puts JIG into its pool, and the creator's flywheel goes to work: buyback and burn, holder drip, or sweep and list. Coin launches open once the JIG pool holds $25,000 of SOL for 24 hours.
- Then
Jig V2
Three-quarter and side poses, characters holding items, and a verifiable build of every program.
- After that
Payouts and the pot
The pot fills from every mint fee, half the JIG pool fee and swept airdrops, and buys JIG it never sells. The founders decide how it is put to work, including whether to switch on SOL payouts to JIG holders.
An aim, not a forecast.
Risks
Smart contracts
Every coin's money passes through the creator_coins program, and the programs have had in-house reviews and an internal audit round, not an external audit. Mitigations: locked liquidity, revoked mint authorities, no pot withdraw, price bands on automated trades, a regression test suite, and the 72-hour upgrade time lock.
JIG liquidity
Every coin buy from SOL passes through JIG first, and the JIG pool started small. A large buy into a shallow pool costs more, and every coin is priced in JIG, so a JIG swing moves every coin. Mitigations: coin launches wait for $25,000 of SOL in the JIG pool for 24 hours, a locked position that only grows, and slippage limits.
Market
The Solana NFT market is small compared with 2021–22. Jig's bet is that the coin and creators' own communities bring buyers in.
AI output and IP
Output is AI-drawn and reviewed by the creator. Poses that do not yet hold quality are not offered. Creators are responsible for their briefs and pictures.
Insider timing
The founders' 15% is out by week 14. The schedule is public and on an immutable program, and the creator's coin share cannot move before holders can claim.
Regulatory and consumer
Holder payouts are off until legal advice. Prices are shown against a real future price, never a struck-out "was" price. Jig does not promise airdrop, coin or JIG value, or any return.
Dependencies
Meteora, whose operator can change pool fees and which keeps 20% of them. Also Metaplex, marketplaces' royalty code, image-model providers, IPFS hosting, drand and Solana RPC providers.
Verify on chain
Only trust addresses published on jigpad.com and Jig's own accounts.

This paper is not an offer, not investment advice and not a promise of returns. JIG and creator coins can lose all their value. Holder payouts are switched off and may never be switched on. The programs have had no external audit, and four of them can be upgraded through a 2-of-3 multisig after a 72-hour time lock. Figures are as of 27 October 2026 and may change.
